Lionel Beauxis (French pronunciation: [ljɔnɛl boksis]) (born 24 October 1985 in Tarbes, Hautes-Pyrénées) is a French rugby union player.[1] He is 1.80 m (5 ft 11 in) tall and weighs 86 kg (190 lb). He plays at fly half for Stade Toulousain.
He also played for France in the 2007 Six Nations Championship called in as a reserve for injured Frédéric Michalak. He earned his first cap on 3 February 2007 against Italy and scored his first international try during the 2007 World Cup against Georgia on 30 September 2007. He will join Toulouse for the 2011/12 season on a 3 year deal.[2] He is perhaps best known for his place-kicking abilities, having a very long kicking range, frequently kicking penalties from within his own half.
